Bridgeport Pitching Defeats Baseball in Doubleheader

Using five pitchers across 16 innings, Bridgeport earned a pair of shutouts over the D'Youville baseball team Saturday afternoon a Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Conn. The Purple Knights opened the East Coast Conference doubleheader with a 12-0 victory, before knocking off the Saints, 5-0, in the series finale to sweep the three-game set.
