BYU Defeats Portland 9-8 in Extra Innings

PROVO, Utah — The Portland Pilots put together a spirited comeback, scoring three runs over the eighth and ninth innings, but the late-game rally came up short and they fell 9-8 to the BYU Cougars Thursday. Ryan Rembisz (1-1) took the loss on the mound for Portland (22-18, 11-8).
