Canadian pitcher/outfielder Josiah Stairs joins Baseball program

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone is excited to announce the addition of Cambridge Ontario native and multi-sport athlete Josiah Stairs to the baseball program as he has signed his letter of intent to join Coach Chuck Lowitzki and the team in 2021. Josiah played both baseball and basketball in Ontario, earning honors in each sport. In his high school baseball career, he was named Inter-County Baseball Association Bantam All-Star and played on the Ontario Sumer Games Team in 2018. He also was part of the 2018 Ontario Baseball Association Bantam "A" Provincial Championship team. Individually, Josiah was named to the District Eight Catholic Secondary School Academic All-Stars in 2017 and 2018 for his success both on the field and in the classroom.
