Cardinals top Carleton in opener

James Green and Aaron Hochevar combined on a five-hit shutout as the Saint Mary's baseball team topped Carleton 4-0 in the first game of their MIAC doubleheader Tuesday in Northfield, Minn. Game 2 of the conference twinbill was halted in the eighth inning, with Saint Mary's leading 6-2.
