Catamount Football Looking to ‘Build Calluses’ Through the Fall

College football kicked out of neutral and into low-gear last weekend as the country attempts to slip out of the embrace of the COVID-19 pandemic that has sacked the nation since mid-March. For the Western Carolina Catamount football team, this week opens an eight-week preparation period ahead of its competition in November. On Monday, the Catamounts initiated the first of two, four-week plans to prepare for the two scheduled football games set for Nov. 14 at Liberty and Nov. 21 at Eastern Kentucky.
