CBU Tops UCR in Crosstown Showdown

RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA— The Lancers headed across town for a midweek tilt against the University of California, Riverside Highlanders. CBU topped the Highlanders 5-1 on Tuesday evening as the Lancer pitching staff only allowed two hits through nine innings. California Baptist improves to 1-1 this season against UCR and 17-16 on the year before WAC play resumes this weekend.
