Chris Hall and Cameron Bowen break triples and assists records for LMU baseball

Harrogate, TN – Records were made to be broken, and Lincoln Memorial's baseball team surely got the message ahead of the 2024 campaign. The Railsplitters continue to achieve new heights, breaking multiple individual records as head coach Justin Haywood climbs the all-time wins list. So far this season, three individual records have been broken by three separate players on the team. Earlier this season, Carson Boles broke the single season record for doubles in a season. He is now joined by teammates Chris Hall and Cameron Bowen as Lincoln Memorial baseball record holders. During game two of the Newberry series, Hall set a new single season record in triples with seven, breaking a record previously held by Wes Neiderland. Bowen's record was a career record, setting the new benchmark for career assists with 419 in game three of the Newberry series, breaking a record previously held by Derek Treece. With one regular season game remaining (Erskine), and post season play just around the corner, each player has time to build some cushion on their new records as the Railsplitters seek to make a run in the post season.
