Chromatic Rivals Square Off in Must-Win SoCon Tournament Opener

CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina softball begins its pursuit of the 2024 SoCon Softball Championship on Wednesday afternoon as the Catamounts battle sixth-seeded Furman in a win-or-go-home game set for a 1 p.m. first pitch from the UNCG Softball Stadium on the campus of UNCG. The winner of Wednesday afternoon's action will battle third-seeded Samford at 7 p.m. in double-elimination tournament action.
