Collins hits a walk-off winner as Baseball downs Siena Heights 10-9

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After a 385-hour and 37-minute delay since Cornerstone and Siena Heights started their nine-inning game, they were finally able to finish it on Thursday afternoon. The game went back and forth as Cornerstone led 9-1 in the fifth. Siena Heights came all the way back to tie the game at nine with an eight run sixth inning. It was not until the bottom of the ninth that Jake Collins hit a walk-off single to move Cornerstone to 17-23, 10-12 WHAC on the year. CU will now travel to Madonna for a 1 p.m. double-header tomorrow to begin a four-game series.
