Comets slide past Jimmies in opener

MAYVILLE, ND – Marcus Wohl knew what was in store as he headed to bat in the bottom of the eighth inning. Comets head coach Scott Berry called on Wohl to replace Dayne Fredland, and Wohl took advantage, hitting a two-run single to left field, which ended up being the difference, as Mayville State defeated the University of Jamestown, 4-2, in the opener for the Comets in the fall season at Scott Berry Field in Mayville.
