D-backs target a sixth straight win

The D-backs end their five-game homestand Tuesday at 3:10 p.m. MST against the A's on MLB.TV. Right-hander Luke Weaver (0-3, 11.85 ERA) will start for the D-backs as they try to extend their five-game winning streak. Weaver's last two starts have been cut short as the club tries to mitigate his fourth-inning struggles. He was pulled after three innings two starts ago. Last time out, he was allowed to start the fourth but retired just one batter in the inning. Righty Frankie Montas (2-1, 1.57 ERA) will start for Oakland.
