Despite Lampman's 10-Inning Effort, Baseball Drops Doubleheader to STAC

An upset-hungry D’Youville baseball team returned to the field to begin their final regular-season series, but fell twice to No. 20 St. Thomas Aquinas Saturday evening in Gowanda, N.Y. After the Saints grabbed a quick two-run advantage at Gowanda High School in game one, the Spartans responded by scoring 15 of the game’s final 16 runs for a 15-3 victory. The nightcap featured a pitching duel between senior Adam Lampman and three Spartan pitchers, as STAC edged the Saints, 2-1, in 10 innings.
