DU Believe It or Not: Baseball program has put together eight straight 30-win seasons

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Over the last eight seasons, the Davenport baseball team has built itself into one of the best small college programs in the country. The Panthers have had to go through some significant changes during this span. The biggest change was when the university moved from NAIA to NCAA Division II. Under most circumstances, this type of change yields diminishing results due to the level of competition increase. That did not alter the success of the Panther baseball team as they have won 71 percent of their games over the last eight seasons and put together 30-plus win seasons each time.
