DU erupts for 39 runs in doubleheader sweep over Parkside

KENOSHA, Wis. – The bats were red hot on Saturday as the Davenport baseball team scored 39 runs in a doubleheader sweep over Parkside. The Panthers scored a season-high 20 runs and allowed just six runs in game one and then nearly matched it in game two with a 19-8 victory over the Rangers. Davenport picked up their fourth straight win to set a season high for a win streak and will play Parkside one more time tomorrow at 2 PM ET in Grayslake, Ill. at the College of Lake County Baseball Field.
