Ebling Records Two Hits, Scores Winning Run, Earns AEC Victory versus Marywood University

Scranton, Pa. – (4/26/2024) – Senior Frank Ebling (Cherry Hill, N.J.) was there at every turn for Gwynedd Mercy University (10-23, 3-10) as he allowed only an unearned run over nine innings and led off the eighth inning with a double down the left field line before scoring the eventual game-winning run of a 2-1 victory over Atlantic East Conference (AEC) rival Marywood University on wild pitch. The win was Ebling's fifth (5-3) of the season; he allowed five hits and struck out two in the effort. Sophomore center fielder Sam Junker (Ambler, Pa.) knocked in the first Red and Gold run in the fifth inning with a two-out single to centerfield (1-0).
