Edgewood College splits with no. 12 Benedictine in NACC battle

VERONA – It was a battle of the Eagles at a humid and windy Stampfl Field Saturday. Edgewood College hosted Benedictine, ranked no. 12 in the latest D3baseball.com poll, in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) showdown. Benedictine (25-8, 14-6) rallied late to win a 14-5 game one off of Edgewood College (18-17), but the hosts got the last laugh in an 8-3 final in game two.
