EMPORIA STATE ATHLETICS POSTS RECORD DEPARTMENT WIDE GPA

May 15, 2020-Despite having to take the last eight weeks of classes online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Emporia State's nearly 350 student-athletes combined for a department record GPA of 3.28 during the spring 2020 semester. Five programs had a team GPA of over 3.50 while all programs maintained at least a 3.00 GPA during the spring. A total of 239 of the 344 student-athletes for Emporia State had a 3.0 GPA during the semester while 68 Hornet student-athletes had a 4.0 GPA in the spring.
