Five Pioneers named D3baseball.com All-Mideast Region

MARIETTA, Ohio — Marietta College placed five players on the 2021 D3baseball.com All-Mideast Region Team announced Tuesday (June 1) morning. Outfielder Turner Hill (Marietta, Ohio/Marietta) and pitcher Sam Mathews (Fairfield, Ohio/Badin) earned first team honors. First baseman Drew Holderbach (Fairfield, Ohio/Badin) and pitcher Gino Sabatine (Alliance, Ohio/West Branch) were named to the second team, while third baseman Damian Yenzi (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) was a third team honoree.
