Former Raider Peyton Burdick called up to Marlins

Wright State baseball alum Peyton Burdick (2016-19) has been called up to the Miami Marlins, the organization announced on Friday, August 5. Burdick becomes the third Raider on an active Major League Baseball roster, joining longtime reliever Joe Smith of the Minnesota Twins and Gold Glove catcher Sean Murphy of the Oakland Athletics.
