Four-Homer Inning Lifts Tribe Over Duke

DURHAM, N.C.- An eight run second inning and strong pitching from a quartet of arms powered the Green and Gold to a 14-3 win at Duke Tuesday afternoon. The Tribe hit four homers including three in three pitches in a breakout second and that would be more than enough as Zach Tsakounis, Mike Weidinger, Carter Lovasz, and Nate Knowles combined to allow just three runs in the win. The victory is the team's fourth in a row, a season-high, and the program's first over an ACC opponent since the 2019 season.
