Freshmen Nearly Lead Comeback Versus Northern Colorado

GREELEY, COLO.- Western Illinois baseball (2-15,0-2) nearly completed a spectacular comeback in the second game of their series versus Northern Colorado (5-14, 2-0). Western Illinois trailed 12-5 entering the top of the seventh but used a five-run seventh and three-run ninth to tie the game. Northern Colorado managed to walk it off with a fielder's choice in the ninth for the 14-13 win.
