GAMEDAY: BASEBALL TAKES ON D'YOUVILLE IN FINAL GAME OF FOUR-GAME SET

Niagara Falls, NY – The College of Staten Island Baseball Team will play the last of four games against D'Youville University this afternoon hoping to salvage a win in their four-game series with the Saints.  The Dolphins come in with a record of 12-22 and are 7-12 in conference play following two losses yesterday.  The Saints are 21-17 on the year and 10-5 against conference opponents after to decisive wins over CSI on Saturday.  Despite the losses on Saturday, the Dolphins still lead the all-time series against the Saints, 10-7.  After scoring 10 of the first 12 runs in the series, the Dolphins have been outscored 41-7 since the seventh inning of Friday's game.  During the first four games the teams ever played against one another from 2004 through 2005, the Dolphins outscored the Saints 53-6.  With their three wins in this series, D'Youville is now closing in on their first playoff berth as a part of the East Coast Conference and has pushed the Dolphins to the brink of elimination.
