Griffins Score Season-High 13 Runs Against The Chargers

Gwynedd Valley, Pa. (4/9/2024) – With Gwynedd Mercy University (8-15) coming into the game on a six-game losing streak, the Griffins welcomed Lancaster Bible College (15-9-1) to Frank O. Genuardi Legends Field where a season-high 13 runs for the Red and Gold lead to a win over the Chargers 13-4. After a rough outing for freshman starting pitcher Patrick Talley (Collingswood, Pa.) (2.1IP, 3H, 2ER, and 5BB) senior pitcher Joe Golden (Churchville, Pa.) had an excellent relief appearance (4.2IP, 3H, 2ER, 1BB, and 5K) in the win (2-0). Sophomore outfielder Sam Junker (Ambler, Pa.) went 3-5 from the dish today with a game-high four runs batted in (RBI).
