Griffins Start AEC Series with Mighty Macs

Gwynedd Valley, Pa. (4/19/2024) – Gwynedd Mercy University (9-21, 2-8 AEC) played host to back-to-back Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Champions Immaculata University (19-12, 8-3 AEC) in their series opener. Getting the nod for the Griffins was ace Frank Ebling (Cherry Hill, N.J.). Ebling did his best to keep the high-powered Mighty Macs offense in check as his final stat line was (8.1IP, 9H, 4ER, and 2K) in the loss (4-3). Senior pitcher Joe Golden (Churchville, Pa.) pitched the remaining two-thirds of the ninth inning giving up two earned runs allowing Immaculata to walk away with a 7-0 victory.
