Grove City edged in northern opener

MEADVILLE, Pa. — The Grove City College baseball team opened the northern portion of the 2020 schedule Wednesday afternoon by dropping a 3-1 decision at Allegheny in non-conference action. Grove City (5-6) carried a 1-0 lead into the bottom of the sixth inning but three unearned runs allowed Allegheny to pull ahead.
