Hawks WIN on Day 1 of the GSC Tournament

Oxford, AL— The Hawks had a successful first day at the GSC Conference Tournament here in Oxford, Alabama. They took down the #3 seeded University of Alabama Huntsville Chargers 3-0 for the first upset of the day. Tanner Folds pitched a complete 9 innings to earn his 11th win of the season. Kobe Jones jumped on the Chargers early with a solo long ball to make it 1-0 in the first. The Hawks other 2 runs came in the 5th with some offensive help from Jakob Woods, Kody Krause, Jacob Pajer, Kobe Jones, and Thomas Schroeder IV. As they move on to Day 2, they will face the Lee University Flames in the Winner's Bracket at 1PM.
