HEAD BASEBALL COACH, TROY PERCIVAL, RESIGNS

RIVERSIDE, Calif. –  UC Riverside Baseball head coach, former Highlander pitching star and Major League Baseball pitching legend, Troy Percival, announced his resignation as head coach of the Highlanders, today, Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Coach Percival is leaving his post as head coach of his beloved Highlanders to spend time more time with his family and to guide and support his son Cole as he advances in his professional career with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Cole Percival is one of many Highlanders in recent years to sign a Major League contract and joins the Dodgers, the same organization for which former UCR pitcher and two-time World Series winner, Joe Kelly, plays.
