Hofstra Rallies To Defeat Towson In Series Opener

Hempstead, NY – Kevin Bruggeman's two-run double in the bottom of the eighth inning snapped a 10-10 tie and Steve Harrington followed with a two-run home run as Hofstra rallied to defeat Towson, 14-10, Friday in the opening game of a Colonial Athletic Association series at University Field. The Pride scored eight runs over the seventh and eighth innings with five coming in the decisive eighth.
