Horner-McDonald Triple Play Highlights Griffin Loss to Knights

Gwynedd Valley, Pa. – (4/16/2024) – Arcadia University (22-10) topped Gwynedd Mercy University (9-19) by a 15-4 margin in today's contest and it could have been more as freshman third baseman Ryan Horner (Cinnaminson, N.J.) knocked down a liner, tagged the runner, touched third base, and threw to freshman second baseman Daulton McDonald (Cinnaminson, N.J.) for the second triple play in Griffin history. Horner (1-for-4) did damage at the plate as well, knocking in a run with his fifth-inning double down the left field line. McDonald was 3-for-3 with a run.
