Huskies Blank Towson, 3-0

BROOKLINE, Mass. – Right-handed pitcher Cam Schlittler tossed 7.0 scoreless innings, striking out eight, while Jeff Costello, Scott Holzwasser and Spenser Smith each drove in runs to lead Northeastern (20-6, 8-0 CAA) to a 3-0 win over Towson (15-26, 5-4 CAA) in the opener of this Colonial Athletic Association series on Friday at Friedman Diamond. The Huskies have won 10 straight and the 20-6 start is the best in program history.
