Iona Baseball Falls in Extra Innings to Stony Brook

LONG ISLAND, NY – The Iona University baseball dropped a back and forth contest, losing to Stony Brook 11-10 in extra innings on Tuesday afternoon. The Gaels led 10-9 entering the final inning but the Seawovles rallied, scoring a run in the ninth and won the game in the 10th, on a walk-off single. Despite the loss, Jake Field hit multiple home-runs for the second time this season, driving in four of Iona's 10 runs in the game.
