Jets showcase powerful offense in 8th inning to sweep Bearcats

MARYVILLE, Mo. – Baseball won their fourth game in a row, and their sixth out of the last seven, to sweep the Northwest Missouri Bearcats. It's Newman's first sweep of an MIAA opponent since joining the conference in COVID shortened 2020 season. The game was very close up until the eighth inning when Newman scored eight unanswered runs to finish the game.
