Lehigh Sweeps Series at Holy Cross Behind 8-4 Sunday Triumph

Fifth-year Gerard Sweeney blasted a two-run home run in the eighth inning to break a 4-4 tie and Lehigh added two runs in the ninth to defeat Holy Cross 8-4 Sunday in the final game of a three-game series at Fitton Field. Sweeney's third home run of the season delivered two of his three RBIs on the day as Lehigh sweeps the weekend series to move to 17-20 overall and 4-10 in the Patriot League.
