Lewis Named BOXTOROW National Player of the Week and LSWA Defensive Player of the Week, Barajas Named LSWA Special Teams Player of the Week

BATON ROUGE, LA — Southern defensive end Jordan Lewis has been named BOXTOROW National Player of the Week and Louisiana Sports Writers Association Defensive Player of the Week, the organization announced Tuesday evening. Lewis, a junior from Ocala, Fla., had a career high 11 tackles (8 solo), five tackles for loss, four sacks, and a forced fumble in the Jaguars 24-21 victory over Alabama State.
