Lyles gets nod in opener vs. Halos

Right-hander Jordan Lyles will be on the mound for the Rangers when they open a three-game series against the Angels at 8:05 p.m. CT Friday at Globe Life Field. Lyles allowed four runs in four innings on Saturday in San Francisco. He is 2-1 with a 5.50 ERA in four career starts and one relief appearance against the Angels but will be facing them for the first time since 2015. The game will be broadcast live on MLB.TV.
