Madonna Opens WHAC Play With Doubleheader Sweep

DETROIT – The Madonna University baseball team opened Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play with a doubleheader sweep over Lawrence Tech University on Monday from The Corner Ballpark in Detroit. The Crusaders won the first game 4-2 before completing the sweep in the nightcap with a 10-9 victory over the host Blue Devils.
