Martell’s First Team Selection Headlines Four Griffins on All-AEC Baseball Team

Lancaster, Pa. – (5/16/2022) – Following Immaculata University's championship run, Commissioner Jessica Huntley has officially released the 2022 All-Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Baseball Team and Major Award Winners. The Immaculata University coaching staff – Head Coach Josh Copskey and crew – garnered the league's Coaching Staff of the Year honors after directing the Mighty Macs to the top seed in the 2022 AEC Baseball Championship Tournament. Their ace, sophomore Jason Hughes (Warminster, Pa.) was recognized as the AEC Pitcher of the Year, while Marywood University graduate first baseman Jake Schuster (Lansdale, Pa.) garnered the AEC Player of the Year award and Cabrini University freshman pitcher Brian Dino (Succasunna, N.J.) received the AEC Rookie of the Year accolade. Gwynedd Mercy University senior infielder Jake Martell (Yardley, Pa.) headlined the Griffins' contributions to the all-league roster. Fellow seniors, outfielder T.J. Brasier (Levittown, Pa.) and designated hitter Billy Collins (Hatfield, Pa.) were joined on the All-AEC Second Team by sophomore relief pitcher Mitchell Bramsway (Temecula, Calif.).
