Mathews named OAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio — Marietta College junior Sam Mathews (Fairfield, Ohio/Badin) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week Monday (April 5) afternoon by the conference office. This is the second weekly award for the Etta Express as Mathews joins Zach Boyd (Kent, Ohio/Tallmadge), who was named the first Hitter of the Week this season.
