Mavs Offense Struggles In Series-Opening Loss To Lamar

BEAUMONT, TEXAS – The UT Arlington Maverick baseball team dropped the first game of the weekend series to Lamar University, 2-4. Offensive struggles and another error-filled night caused some struggles for the Mavs, as they recorded just 3 hits and allowed just 1 earned run. A duo of errors by the Mavs caused 3 additional runs to plate.
