Meny hits for the cycle as pitching shuts down Rochester in a double header sweep

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – It was the final home game for Baseball as they welcomed Rochester for another round of games. Cornerstone celebrated their seniors with a double header sweep of the Warriors that saw a little bit of everything. Cornerstone won game one 12-2 behind a solid hitting performance from the offense and pitching performance from Lucas Vega. In game two, Andrew Meny hit for the cycle and Mason Leckrone had a no-hitter going into the seventh inning as they would win 11-1 in eight innings. Baseball improves to 19-24 (14-12) on the year as they will travel to Lawrence Tech for a double header on Wednesday, April 24 starting at 1 p.m.
