Middle Inning Work Lifts Chargers to Series Victory Over Adelphi with 7-2 Saturday Win

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – Leading by just a single run heading into the sixth, the New Haven baseball team plated four runs in the top of the sixth and never looked back as they went on to defeat Adelphi 7-2 and secure the series victory against the fellow Southwest Division opponent. The Chargers and Panthers will close out the series on Sunday with a single game set for a 1:00 p.m. start. With the win, New Havem improves to 21-20 on the year and 13-10 in the Northeast-10 Conference.
