Mike Ferrett's Grand Slam Lifts SCSU Baseball To 7-6 Win At New Haven

WEST HAVEN, Conn. – A 5th-inning grand slam by Mike Ferrett broke a 3-3 tie and led Southern Connecticut to a 7-6 win at Elm City rival and nationally-ranked No. 13 New Haven in West Haven, Conn. With the win, Southern improved to 22-7 overall and remain undefeated in the NE10 Southwest Divsiion at 5-0 while New Haven dropped to 20-7 overall and 6-3 in conference play. The Owls have now won six-straight games, all against regionally-ranked opponents.
