MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.-Western Illinois baseball (2-17) fell behind early to the Minnesota Golden Gophers (6-15) and fell in Friday's matchup 11-4. A pair of big innings offensively and a solid start from their starter helped propel Minnesota to a win in the series opener.
