My Story: Baseball's Kevin Lambert

It was Thursday, March 12. We were on the bus heading down to Birmingham. We were all so excited to start off the conference season. Five minutes into the bus ride, we started seeing tweets from different baseball conferences saying that their season was suspended. We were all confused – wondering if the same thing was going to happen to us this weekend or possibly later on. About 10 minutes later, we stopped at a gas station and Coach Pawlowski let us know that he was waiting on a decision to see if we were still able to play this weekend. Not even five minutes passed when we got word that we were not going to UAB anymore.
