NCAA Regional: No. 3 Birmingham Southern takes championship versus Salve Regina

LYNCHBURG, Va. (May 22, 2022) – Nationally-ranked No. 3 Birmingham Southern College and Salve Regina University waited over two and a half hours (2:39) during a weather delay in the championship game of the NCAA Division III Baseball Regional hosted by University of Lynchburg at Bank of the James Stadium, before the Panthers (41-8) completed their third 10-2 triumph in the bracket over the Seahawks (30-13-2).
