NCCU Baseball’s DeLeon and Vernon Highlighted by Perfect Game

DURHAM, N.C. – Two North Carolina Central University baseball student-athletes have been projected to be standout players in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference in the upcoming 2021 campaign as Luis DeLeon (Providence, R.I.) was named MEAC Preseason Player of the Year, and Austin Vernon (Raleigh, N.C.) was named MEAC Preseason Pitcher of the Year by Perfect Game, the outlet announced.
