Nelson pitches a gem as Baseball splits with Cleary

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone Baseball returned home to face off against Cleary for a double header. Cornerstone opened the first game riding the hot hand of starting pitcher Brody Nelson, who went the distance pitching all seven innings to help the Golden Eagles to a 4-0 victory. In game two, Cleary was a pest at the plate scoring in five straight innings on their way to a 10-1 victory, ending the Golden Eagle seven game win streak. Baseball will be right back in action tomorrow afternoon for another double header against these Cleary Cougars starting at 1 p.m.
