Nick Eliason Named CCC / Rize Laboratory Baseball Pitcher of the Week

CORVALLIS, Ore. – College of Idaho redshirt sophomore Nick Eliason (Billings, Mont.) was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference / Rize Laboratory Baseball Pitcher of the Week on Monday. Ellison pitched 8.2 innings, scattering four hits, two runs (both earned) and struck out nine Corban batters on Saturday, April 15 in a 3-2 win over the Warriors. For the season, Eliason has been one of the top pitchers in the CCC and in the College of Idaho rotation. He leads the team with a 4.62 ERA and a 6-1 mark to go along with 64 strikeouts, plus opponents are hitting just .222 against the left hander.
