Northeastern Completes Sweep over Towson, 3-1

BROOKLINE, Mass. – Ian Fair drove in the game-winning run with a triple in the eighth inning, right-handed pitcher David Stiehl picked up his first save of the season with a perfect ninth inning, and Danny Crossen finished 2-for-4 to lead Northeastern (23-6, 11-0 CAA) to a 3-1 victory over Towson (15-29, 5-7 CAA) on Sunday at Friedman Diamond. The Huskies are riding a NCAA-best 13-game winning streak.
