Offensive Duel Ends In Saints Sweep Over Red and Gold

Gwynedd Valley, Pa. (4/14/2024) – Gwynedd Mercy University (8-18, 2-6 AEC) played host to Marymount University (24-5, 11-1 AEC) in the final contest in the season series. Both teams' bats came alive in the Sunday showdown as the Griffins and Saints combined for 26 hits in the contest. However, it would be Marymount that would finish with seven extra-base hits including two home runs in the game giving the Saints a 15-5 sweep over Gwynedd Mercy. Senior designated hitter Frank Ebling (Cherry Hill, N.J.) finished with a team-high two runs-batted-in (RBI) and going one-of-five from the dish. Senior pitcher Mitchell Bramsway (Temecula, Calif.) garnered the start in the loss (4.2IP, 9H, 8R, 6ER, 4K, 5BB) (1-2).
